This cultural tour takes you on a sightseeing tour to Beijing which has a history of more than 2,000 years. You get to visit the Tiananmen Square - the largest city square in the world and the spiritual heart of China, the Forbidden City located in the centre of Beijing, used to be the Imperial Palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The Great Wall, which is more than 3600 hundred years old and 6700kms long, is the most famous symbol of china and one of the world’s most remarkable architectural wonders. After the delightful visit in Beijing you take a train journey to Lhasa, on board the world’s highest train. From Lhasa you take an overland journey to some of Tibet’s most interesting sites.

Day 8: Lhasa/ Namtso/ Lhasa- visit Lake Namtso, Return to Hotel in Lhasa

Day 9: Lhasa/ Gyangtse- Drive from Lhasa to Gyangtse via Yamdrok Lake, the sacred water so called “Swan Lake”/ Overnight Hotel

Day 10: Gyangtse/Shigatse - Morning visit Palchui monastery drive to Shigatse. visit Tashilhunpo monastery/ Overnight Shigatse

Day 11: Shegatse/Rongbuk- Morning drive from Shigatse to Rongbuk monastery/Overnight guest house.

Day 12: Rongbuk/Shegatse- Drive from Rongbuk monastery drive back to Shigatse/ Overnight Shigatse
